Three children and an adult were taken to hospital on Wednesday (21) after a car left the road and collided with an electricity pole on Ramsey Road, Whittlesey.

Magpas doctor Mark Tehan and paramedic Dan Read arrived in Whittlesey, via a Magpas rapid response BMW at 6.26pm.

A Magpas spokesman said: “The Magpas medical team assessed four patients (one adult and three children) whilst working alongside an EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew.

“Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service crews worked quickly and efficiently to get the family safely out of the car and away from the electricity pole.

“Fortunately, the patients didn’t suffer any life threatening injuries.

“All four people were taken by land ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital in a stable condition.”
