TILES have been knocked off a wall and broken down Fenland Walk, near to Broad Street in March.

The damage was caused by youths kicking footballs against a wall on a number of occasions from the middle of January to the middle of February. One such occasion took place on Monday, February 5 just before 7pm and officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the damage being done.

PC Justin Bielawski, who is investigating, said: "I would like to speak to anyone who saw a number of young boys or teenagers playing football in this area - near to the Superdrug store.

"On some occasions footballs have been kicked against the tiles, causing them to fall and smash on the floor.

"This is becoming an on going problem and I need to speak to anyone who can help identify those responsible for this damage."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Bielawski, at March Police Station on 0845 456 456 4 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
