The Cabaret Club of March is recreated tonight in a special one-off performance as part of the Fenland Big Weekender.

The ‘mega 60s showcase’ is in the marquee at the Oliver Cromwell Hotel, March, from 7pm to 11.30pm and with a massive line up of live music.

Come down to the Cabaret Club marquee and Twist and Shout with a host of amazing local talent supported by a group of international musicians.

Get dressed up and bring your dancing shoes.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be entertained ’60s style by such a great mix of home grown and professional talent.

Tickets are £5 and admission is on the door.

Local artists will perform at the Cabaret Club Mega ’60s night, working together with local musician Tom Harlock and 20Twenty’s Musical Director Audrey Morton.

Local performers are: Anya Levicki, Maria Morton, Katy-May Currie, Lilli Shailes, Cerys Pughsley, Nigel Craft, Kira Gibson, Eva Goodman, Holly Orridge, Abi Miller, Jess Davis, Jack Butler, Amy Cawley

Licensed bar and a bar food menu will be available.

Five artists come together to form the Cabaret Band to head your entertainment line-up.

Graham McGrotty – lead guitar

Graham has played with many soul/Motown acts such as The Platters, The Three Degrees and the Supremes on their UK tours. After finishing uni, Graham joined a band in Las Vegas, playing swing style music in the casinos and venues in Nevada and jazz festivals across the USA. Returning to the UK, he joined the official tribute to the Blues Brothers touring the UK, Europe and being resident in the West End. He has also worked on other musical theatre shows such as Godspell and Hair. Graham currently works for a Motown show which performs all over the UK and records music for radio and TV

Craig Bacon – drummer

Craig has toured all over the world, recorded and appeared on TV and Radio with many artists/bands including; Gloria Gaynor and Avril Lavigne

Jimmi Clarke – bass

Jimmi has worked with many different artists live and in the studio. He was the bass player for Il Divo, He toured the world with them, playing more than 130 shows in 45 countries and he’s played on three of their albums.

He is currently playing bass for Gloria Gaynor and has been enjoying that gig for the last eight years. He also works as a producer and mix engineer at Ashwood Music Publishing.

Mike Drinkwater – keyboards

Mike has wide experience in theatre, playing keyboards in musicals like Chicago, Godspell, The Blues Brothers and Hair. He has played on sessions for Cliff Richard, Mick Ronson (David Bowie), Rick Buckler (The Jam) and worked with members of Level 42 and Squeeze. He has written library music for radio and TV.

Tom Harlock – guitar

Tom has been in many different cover bands over the years, he currently performs with Whisky Twist and he recently created a super group for the March Summer Festival. As well as playing guitar, Tom is a drummer and bass guitarist. Over the years he has also gained skills in live sound and recording having spent some time working at Faraday Studios in London where he gained crucial recording skills. Tom is also a confident sound engineer.
