OLIVER Coe picked up the award for Best Cadet at March Army Cadets awards.
Mayor of March Bernard Keane also presented Callum Liversedge with the prize for Best Recruit, whereas the Knight Trophy for Best NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer) was handed to Cadet Corporal James Gatty.
Mayor Keane also praised the cadets for their work in the town and complemented Staff Sgt Gemma Offer, Detachment Officer, for her “drive and dedication”.
“The focus of the evening was to receive a new ceremonial standard flag pole and parade gloves from the March Branch of the Cambridgeshire Regimental Association and present annual awards to its Cadets,” said Lt Col Mark Knight MBE.
The Cadets are open to everyone aged 12 years and over and meet in Gas Road, March.
