PUPILS at a Wisbech school are preparing to meet Premier League football star Jermain Defoe, who is set to present them with a Healthy Eating Award this week.
The Tottenham and England striker is expected to visit Thomas Clarkson Community College on Wednesday at 11:15am.
Defoe, who has scored 15 goals in his 45 international caps, will meet the College’s Sports Ambassadors and Sports Academy students. He will then unveil the school’s Healthy Eating Award.
