Drivers should expect up to four days of delays when travelling through Gaul Road in March as a decaying Maple tree is felled.
A stop-and-go traffic control system will be in place from Tuesday, April 24, and will take up to four days to complete.
Contractors working on behalf of Fenland District Council will fell the Norway Maple tree opposite 47-49 Gaul Road following a recent inspection by an independent tree specialist.
An in-depth tree analysis revealed several fungus and internal decay, making it potentially unsafe.
