Staff left the classroom and laced up their trainers to take part in the Great East Anglian Run.
Eight Cromwell Community College teachers, ranging from Maths to PE, took part in the race to raise funds for two African schools, Riverview and Chisokone.
Fastest runner was science teacher Trevor Sexton, who finished in an impressive 41 minutes 42 seconds.
The teachers’ efforts raised £250 for the schools, which receive regular donations from the college.
