Two teenagers and a man were forced apologise to a farmer after they were caught digging up and stealing potatoes at a farm in Wimblington.
Officers tracked down two 17-year-olds and an 18-year-old after being called to the farm in Eastwood End at around 7pm yesterday (August 10).
A yellow bag containing a large quantity of potatoes was found alongside the car that was spotted at the scene, and the men were later taken back to the farm to apologise – both verbally and in writing – as part of a community resolution.
