March Lions celebrated a special day for the town and its young people on Friday as 12 of its members picked up Young Leaders in Service awards.
The award recognises the Lions’ will and determination to help in the local community and the time they have given up to help others.
Most of the awards went to people that help out at YPM, a local hangout centre in March.
Lion Alexander Groome said: “This shows that young people just want to help in every way they can to make other young people’s lives more enjoyable.”
