Person freed from car using specialist equipment after two-vehicle collision in March

A person was freed from a car using specialist equipment last night (Monday) after two vehicles collided near Twenty Foot Road, March.
The incident happened at around 5.30pm on July 23 on Graysmoor Drove and police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene.
The collision, involving a Citroen Saxo and a Citroen Berlingo, caused the road to be temporarily closed. It has since re-opened.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue said: “Two crews from March were called to a road traffic collision on Graysmoor Drove, March.
“Crews arrived to find two vehicles had been involved in a road traffic collision.
“Firefighters worked together and used specialist equipment to release one casualty. The casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service.
“Both crews returned to their station by 8pm.”
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “At 5.35pm police were called to attend a road traffic collision on Graysmoor Drove, March involving a Citroen Saxo and a Citroen Berlingo.”
