Two young girls knocked over by motorist in Whittlesey taken to hospital as a precaution

Two young girls were knocked over by a motorist - who was not speeding - in Whittlesey this morning.
The girls were taken to hospital as a precaution but are both OK say police.
The driver was also left shaken following the incident but did not suffer any injuries.
A police spokesman said: “Fortunately the driver was aware of their surroundings and not abusing speed limits, otherwise this could have been a very different outcome.
“Thank you too all members of the public who assisted officers and paramedics in the early stages of this incident, as always your help is appreciated.”
