Police didn’t feel the need to get their tyre gauge out to check on this Wisbech motorist – they took one look and seized the vehicle.
The Vauxhall Corsa was stopped in Wisbech in the early hours of Sunday and the driver “reported for a number of offences”.
A police spokesman described it as a “full house of offences”.
The driver has been reported for being under age, having no insurance, no licence and no MOT.
The motorist will appear before magistrates at a later date – and will have to pay a heft penalty if he wants the vehicle returned. * UK law requires a minimum depth of tread of 1.6 millimetres across the central ¾ of the tread around the complete circumference of the tyre.
