A 48-year-old man has been remanded in custody after appearing before magistrates in connection with a stabbing at a petrol station in Soham.
Edward Parker, 48, of Orchard Row, Soham, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Police were called to the incident at the BP filling station, in Fordham Road, at 2.22pm on September 4.
The victim, a 23-year-old man, had suffered a serious but not life threatening injury and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge.
Parker appeared at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and was remanded in custody.
He is expected to appear before magistrates again on Thursday.
