THREE people were arrested and bailed in connection with an incident in Wisbech yesterday in which a man suffered knife wounds.
A 48-year-old woman, a 34-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, all from the Wisbech area, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm following the incident at a house in Oakroyd Crescent.
They have all been bailed to return to King’s Lynn custody suite on October 20.
Emergency crews were called at 12.20pm after reports that a man in his 20s had suffered serious injuries. He was found with lacerations and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn where his condition is stable.
Police carried out house-to-house inquries in the Oakroyd Crescent and De Havilland Road areas of the town following the incident. The air ambulance was also called but was stood down shortly after arriving.
