Two teenagers have been bailed after being arrested in connection with an assault in Sutton yesterday evening (Tuesday).

The 13-year-old and 18-year-old were arrested after reports of an incident involving a 16-year-old boy in The Brook at about 5.30pm.

Initial reports said the victim had suffered serious head injuries and he was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

Following examination, the boy received treatment for injuries to his ear. He has since returned to his home in Sutton.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or has any information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
