MARCH’S Upwell Park Bowls Club raised £600 for charity with its first open triples competition - played in memory of former Mayor of March Peter Skoulding.

Twelve triples entered the Peter Skoulding MBE Memorial Trophy, with John Buffham, of Manea Bowls Club, captaining the winning team. The winners were awarded a trophy and a cheque for £200.

The event, which raised £600 to be split between the East Anglian Air Ambulance and the British Heart Foundation, was sponsored by the Oliver Cromwell Hotel.
