A WOMAN from March has been recognised as one of the best dog groomers in the country at a national competition.
Samantha Laws, who owns Doggy Styling, in High Street, March, teamed up with cocker spaniel Tia to wow the judges at the British Dog Grooming Championships.
The pair won third prize in the junior class at the event, which was held on Sunday (October 9) at the Kennel Club Building, in Coventry.
Miss Laws, 24, said: “I’m delighted to win at such a prestigious show and I’m looking forward to competing again next year.”
The championships saw dog groomers from across the country compete in a number of categories with the overall winner being crowned ‘Groomer of the Year 2011’.
