A VACANCY has arisen on March Town Council, after Conservative Councillor Tamsin Nichols resigned to pursue a career in the police force.
Electors have until December 10 to request an election, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
For an election to be called, a request must be made in writin by ten local government electors for the March North Ward, with the request handed in to the The Returning Officer, Electoral Services Office, Room 38, Fenland District Council, March.
If an election is called, is must be held within 60 days.
