A PROJECTOR worth about £3,500 has been stolen from March Town Hall.
The projector, used for presentations in the Town Hall, was located in the Skoulding Suite. Its disappearance, between 8.30am on July 3 and 1pm on July 17 caused no cancellations of events.
Town clerk Clive Lemmon said: "It's just one of those things. Somebody must have gone up to the Skoulding Suite, got up on to a table and took it. It is about eight feet off the floor."
Mr Lemmon confirmed that a replacement projector had been ordered and was due to be delivered this week.
The projector was owned by March Civic Trust and had been in the town hall since it was officially re-opened in June last year.
