Police are hunting a robber who hit a van driver with what is believed to be a bar before stealing the vehicle.
The incident happened in Lynn Road in Walpole Highway at 11.40am on Thursday (December 17).
Detectives from King’s Lynn CID are appealing for witnesses to a robbery which took place at the end of last week in Walpole Highway.
The driver of a delivery van was parked up on Lynn Road, when he was approached by another man who demanded the van’s keys off him several times. He then struck the victim with, what is believed to be, a bar. The offender then drove off in the van before it was later recovered.
The victim was left with bruising to the back.
