A car was set alight in Peterborough on Wednesday night (May 16) prompting a plea for information by the fire service.
Crews from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue were called to the scene of a Vauxhall Corsa car on fire in Dogsthorpe.
A spokesman said: “At 11.37pm on Wednesday one crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a fire on Newborough in Dogsthorpe, Peterborough.
“Firefighters arrived to find a Vauxhall Corsa on fire. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 12.25am.
“The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting www.cambs.police.uk to submit an online report or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
