FENLAND torchbearers, a world champion and a vintage bike ridden in the 1936 Olympic Games were the star attractions as London 2012 fever hit March on Sunday.

About 100 people turned out for an “Olympic Jog in the Park”, organised by Reg Kemp.

Torchbearers Ian Groome and Robyn Joly and world champion powerlifter Louise Fox were among the guests in West End Park.

Colin Bedford brought along an old bike ridden by Britain’s Harry Hill in the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin.

The race was started by Peter Jackman, who was there with his wife Gena and several members of March Athletic Club.
