RIDERS were treated to a weekend improving their horsemanship as the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) paid a visit to March.
The camp at Horse Creek Farm was well attended, with riders spending three action-packed days getting to grips with the finer points of western horsemanship.
Groups were given tips by Iain McIntyre from AQHA with riding and non-riding exercises completed.
AQHA was formed by a group of horsemen and ranches in the USA in 1940. They are dedicated to preserving the horse breed, which is used in a variety of events including rodeo and roping.
