THE A141 was closed between March and Chatteris yesterday after a lorry jackknifed and shed its load of beetroot.
It happened close to the A141’s junction with Old Station Way, Wimblington, at about 1.55pm.
A three-axle unit laden with straw was also involved in the collision. One person suffered minor injuries.
The road reopened northbound just before 5pm. The southbound carriageway was reopened at 5.40pm.
