A QUICK-thinking homeowner from Ely caught a bungling burglar on camera as he loitered in his back garden.
The 58-year-old was working on his computer at home in Ely back in March when he spotted the would-be burglar attempting to force his way into the house.
The grandfather grabbed a video camera he normally uses for work and filmed the thief looking a little bewildered in his back garden.
Armed with the footage, he called police, who arrived at his home within five minutes.
