CHARITIES could be setting up a fast food restaurant in their front room as Wisbech’s McDonald’s is giving away its furniture.
The store is preparing for a major refurbishment and to make use of its tables, chairs and even the bins and condiment stands is offering them to charities, community groups and village halls for free.
Lobby supervisor at the McDonald’s Diane Ryan said: “If any of the furniture can find a good home across a number of good causes then it would be brilliant.
“We need to have given away the furniture by the end of the month.”
