AN exhibition of plans for the Nene Waterfront Regeneration project will be on display for people to comment on at the new Axiom Foyer building in North Street.

The exhibition, which includes a model of the development created by Taylor Woodrow, will be open to the public from 10am to 7pm on Friday January 26 and again the following day (10am-1pm).

On Thursday January 25, District Councillors and Wisbech Town Councillors are to be invited to a special viewing of the plans between 4pm and 7pm.

The exhibition, organised by Taylor Woodrow, will give councillors and local people an opportunity to comment on plans for the development of the 9.5-hectare site. Taylor Woodrow will be responsible for the construction of the homes on the site.

Fenland Council, on behalf of the funding partners, the East of England Development Agency (EEDA), English Partnerships and the European Regeneration Development Fund administered by GO-East, will also be exhibiting the details of the public funded works, including the Boathouse, the pedestrian-priority plans for Nene Parade, associated road works, expansion of the yacht harbour and plans for the boatlift and slipway.
