WEASENHAM Lane, Wisbech, is closed until May 8 to give time for Anglian Water to repair a collapsed sewer.
Diversion routes including Elm High Road (A1101) and Cromwell Road (B198) have been signposted.
Traffic orders produced for the county council show the work to be carried out is at the junction of Weasenham Lane and Algores Way.
A council spokesman said the closure “would, I guess, cause some traffic problems in Wisbech.”
