The raffle, organised by Vera Overson and Sylvia Elsegood, raised £39.50. The bring and buy stall, manned by Joan High and Kath Bull, made £13.36. Birthday buttonholes were made and given by Christine Knott and presented together with birthday cards by Sylvia Richardson to Joan High and Mr T Westhorpe. Tea was prepared and served by committee members. Callers for the bingo were Margaret Wright and Sylvia Calver. Last Thursday members enjoyed a day out at Gt Yarmouth and Winterton and then at The Highwayman, where they had lunch and enjoyed entertainment by a female singer in the afternoon. They were accompanied by Margaret Wright and Vera Overson.
