COLOUR photographs of two youngsters taking part in the fancy dress competition at March Festival, have finally made their way to the children's grandparents.

The grandparents forgot their camera and so a March businessman and his wife took pictures of the girls entered for the carnival. Unfortunately the grandparents forgot the name and address of the couple who took the pictures.

Now Chris and Geoff Day will be happy to treasure the photographs of their grandchildren, Star and Romana, after reading our appeal in last week's paper.

"The children were on the St Mary's float and when that was over we all rushed to get them into fancy dress in the park for the competition," said Mrs Day. "Neither won, but I got a second in the adult section. I'd like to say a big thanks to the couple who took the photographs - we're all delighted.
