- THIS weekend Goldfrapp's 'Supernature' tour reaches Cambridge. It's your chance to hear the synthpop superstars, who count Madonna as a fan, when they play the Corn Exchange tomorrow. Madge named the new album (also titled Supernature) as her favourite platter of 2005. The gig starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £16.- Fresh from appearances on Top of the Pops and Later with Jools Holland, Conrad Lambert, aka Merz, plays The Junction in Cambridge this evening. He's been championed by both Jarvis Cocker and Coldplay's Chris Martin and is tipped for big things in 2006. Catch Merz at the Junction from 7pm. Tickets are £9.- The big new movie this weekend is Walk The Line, an honest biopic about country music legend Johnny Cash. It features Joaquin Phoenix in the lead role and traces Cash's career from his poverty-stricken childhood through a spell in the air force before his massive success in the music industry. Walk the Line (12A) is Q103's 'must see' movie this weekend and is showing at Vue Cinemas in the Grafton, Cambridge.- Oleanna is David Mamet's acclaimed play about sexual harassment and political correctness. You can catch it this Saturday night at the ADC Theatre, Cambridge. - Elsewhere, Cambridge Arts Theatre celebrates its 70th anniversary by hosting a brand new production, Mammals, starring Niamh Cusack and Mark Bonnar. It's a new comedy drama and there are Saturday performances at 2.30pm and 7.45pm- In you're in the mood for a few belly laughs, Omid Djalili arrives at Cambridge Corn Exchange this Sunday after a run at last summer's Edinburgh Festival and sell-out shows in London. Tickets for Omid's Cambridge debut are priced at £15.
