A colleague spotted an advert in the Spalding Guardian for a motor dealer making the extraordinary offer of 'FREE-tankful of fuel on production of this ad'.
Brakespeare, of course, duly rang the garage in Peterborough, inquiring what time would be convenient to pop by to fill up.
The (unprintable) response leads to me conclude something may have been missed from the ad
