An inquest was opened and adjourned into a man who died at Whitemoor Jail in March.
Steven Hamilton, 54, died at HMP Whitemoor on March 13.
The cause of death is provisionally given as unascertained.
The inquest was opened before David Scott Morris, senior coroner for south and west Cambridgeshire and William Morris, senior coroner for north and east Cambridgeshire.
It was adjourned to June 18 at Huntingdon Coroners Court.
