The Community Hub in the centre of Whittlesey is to close for three weeks from the end of this month to allow essential building repairs to be carried out.

The building in Market Street will close at noon on Wednesday, September 30, and is due to re-open at 9am on Monday, October 26.

During the closure all the services provided at the hub by Fenland District Council will relocate to the Manor Centre in Station Road. The normal opening hours will be maintained and free parking is available.

The council’s self-service payment machine will also be relocated to the Manor Centre to enable customers to continue to make payments.

Cambridgeshire County Council will provide a separate library service from its mobile library, which will be located on the Market Square each Monday and Friday.

Customers visiting the hub are being advised of the forthcoming changes.
