THERE were over 150 entries in the Whittlesey Ladysmith WI Craft and Produce Show. The overall show winner was Janet Crick and the ‘Judges Choice’ prize went to Barbara Lee.
THERE were over 150 entries in the Whittlesey Ladysmith WI Craft and Produce Show. The overall show winner was Janet Crick and the ‘Judges Choice’ prize went to Barbara Lee.
The event is held every two years. This year the categories were cookery, preserves, flower arranging, handicrafts, harvest basket and a special category for ‘Mishaps,’ for those unfortunate things that do not work our as expected.
The next meeting of Ladysmith WI is on Tuesday November 9, 7.30pm at St Andrews Hall, Parkinson’s Lane, Whittlesey. There will be a demonstration of seasonal plants and decorations by Westfield Nurseries. Visitors are always welcome.
