Whittlesey Masons have given a £500 boost to the town’s Scaldgate Club.
Worshipful Master Nick Thompson presented a cheque for £500 to Laura Smyth one of the helpers at the club closely watched by Ryan.
The Scaldgate Club has been running since 2005 to help adults over 19 with learning disabilities giving them support and a place of fun for a couple of hours a week.
There are 10 members from the Whittlesey area in the club with five helpers who met with members of St Andrew Lodge No 4087.
Pam Clifford, secretary, said everyone enjoys the hours spent at the club including the local outings. She also said that the club would welcome new members from the area.
