The Whittlesey Branch of North East Cambridgeshire Conservative Association held their annual luncheon on Sunday at Whittlesey Conservative Club.
The special guest was Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner Councillor Jason Ablewhite, who spoke to a packed audience about his role and answered questions from those who attended.
Julie Windle, chairman of the Whittlesey branch, said: “Many thanks also go to the committee, especially the ladies who supplied all the homemade puddings and Mr Ablewhite for making time to be our guest.”
The next event will be an annual quiz with fish and chip supper on Friday October 7 with doors opening at 7pm at Whittlesey Conservative Club.
