Two dedicated Rotarians have received awards for their contribution to a club.
Jenny Parker and Michael Wilding received Paul Harris awards at Whittlesey Rotary Club, which are made to people who go the extra mile in service to their club or the community.
Mrs Parker has worked tirelessly in charge of community matters at the club and is also involved in many other associations in the town, while Mr Wilding has been club treasurer for many years.
On the same night, Lincoln University student Jack Benstead received a cheque for £150 from the club to help him fund repairs to an orphanage in Romania.
Mr Benstead, who is studying to be a teacher, will join a group of other volunteers this summer to work on the orphanage and teach the children.
