Pupils got to showcase their singing and dancing skills when a school held a talent competition on Friday.

The competition rounded off a week where children at Park Lane Primary and Nursery School in Whittlesey did a host of creative activities.

They designed healthy eating posters, looked at famous artists’ work and produced their own interpretations, listened to live music and did break dancing and zumba lessons.

If that was not enough, each class made either an animal, flag, building or object to represent a part of the world.

These were added to a world map, which now hangs proudly in the school.

Lorraine Quince, IT support officer at Park Lane, said: “The aim of creativity week was to allow the children to be creative by using their imagination and expressing themselves. Most importantly it was about having fun whilst still learning.”
