WELNEY Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Welney set up a family trail over the half term holiday as part of its new FENology project.
Families followed a trail around the centre, looking for signs that spring is on the way. Children could do drawings, take part in quizzes along the way, play a game in the centre, about finding a newt a partner after coming out of hibernation, and have a go at building a birds' nest.

There was also a talk on moths by Ian Barton on Tuesday night, hosted by the Friends of Welney.
