Two investigation dogs helped lead to the arrest of a 30-year-old man in relation to an arson incident in Peyton Avenue, March.
The fire, which police were called to by Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service shortly before 11.40am, happened on July 20.
Police said on social media: “Following a recent arson investigation by the Fenland Intervention Team, we were assisted by the Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue Fire Investigation Dog Unit who identified further evidence leading to an arrest.
“Thanks to Willow, Maisey and handler.”
The man, from Peterborough, has been released on bail until September 15.
