Rebecca Ferguson is the first headline act to perform at Thetford Forest for this summer’s Forest Live, the Forestry Commission’s annual concert series where artists perform in spectacular woodland locations.

Ferguson is regarded as one of the most naturally talented singers to emerge from The X Factor TV series.

Her million selling debut album Heaven launched her in a blaze of critical acclaim in 2011. The album went on to become double platinum in the UK.

In December, her second album, Freedom, was released and has already achieved gold in album sales.

Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission, bringing music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship. Income generated from ticket sales is spent on improving forests for both people and wildlife.

With everything required for a great night out, including full catering and bar facilities, the concerts are renowned for their relaxed atmosphere.

Rebecca Ferguson will perform at Thetford Forest on Thursday, June 12. For tickets and further information, call the box office on 03000 680400 or visit www.forestry.gov.uk/music
