1220 (March) Squadron completed a successful Wing Field weekend at RAF Wyton.

A team of 12 cadets competed against 28 other squadrons from the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire Wing. March won two of the events, were top 10 in four others, and came 11th overall.

There were notable successes in the Aero-Modelling with Scratchbuilt section, won by Cadet Luke Goodall, and the Aircraft Diorama, won by Cadets Simon Foster, Tim Kightly and Luke Goodall who also gained a second in the Open Diorama section. The Class 5 Staff Open class was won by SAC James Martin, a service instructor with the squadron.

On the Sunday afternoon the March Squadron joined more than 500 cadets plus staff on parade for the Wing Review. 1220 (March) Squadron was awarded the Enterprise Trophy for its efforts within the community and in increasing the number of activities available to local cadets.
