Karen and Alan Howlett’s home on Elliott Road was chosen by the Mayor of March Kit Owen as the pick of a very impressive bunch.

Cllr Owen was on hand to present the pair with a trophy donated by deputy mayor Councillor Rob Skoulding.

He said: “We were impressed with the decorations throughout the town and the efforts people had gone to.

“The Elliott Road home did virtually everything they could have done with the space available to them.”

Cllr Skoulding added: “I didn’t envy the mayor having to choose a winner because they were all winners to me.”
