AFTER a comprehensive selection process, Thomas Clarkson Academy has adopted its own signature school sausage.
A panel of students and teachers carried out taste tests on six varieties of sausage created by West Walton butcher Michael Cook, of CH Cook Ltd, marking each of the entries out of ten.
The winning banger, which will be served on the academy restaurant’s spring school menu, is a pork and chive sausage.
Thomas Clarkson Academy’s restaurant manager Alison Fletcher said: “The pork and chive sausage which our sausage panel chose will be put on the menu after Easter and we look forward to everyone being able to taste it.”
