A Fenland squadron is looking for teenagers who would like to try their hand at flying, shooting, model making and adventure training.
272 (Wisbech) Squadron Air Cadets is holding an open evening at their Sandyland Headquarters on February 6 where potential recruits can learn about life in the air cadets, with staff and cadets available to answer any questions.
The squadron also offers 13 to 16 year olds the chance to get first aid training, join a band and gain BTEC qualifications.
They are keen supporters of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme and offer all cadets the opportunity to complete at least the Bronze award.
The open evening starts at 7.30pm, with an intake night held on February 10 at 7pm.
