A group of Wisbech army cadets had their annual inspection on Tuesday.
They lined up while Major Geoff Hammond, Cadet Executive Officer, Cambridgeshire ACF, carried out the inspection at the cadet’s HQ at Sandyland, Wisbech.
During the evening Major Hammond observed as the cadets were taught about navigation, first aid and fieldcraft.
He spoke to many of the cadets about their cadet service and career plans after leaving school.
The evening ended with presentations for cadets who had achieved their Youth First Aid and Army Proficiency Awards.
Certificates were presented to Corporal Foxcroft, Cadet Philip-Hammond, Cadet Haddon and Cadet Crowson.
Captain Trevor Longmuir, Detachment Commander, said: “The evening was a great success for the Cadets. Major Hammond was very impressed with their turnout and achievements.”
