High-achieving pupils at Wisbech Grammar School are heading for their chosen universities after securing top grades in their A-levels.
Chris Staley, headmaster, said: “We are delighted with the results this year and once again more than a quarter of the year group have achieved either A*s or As.
“Seventy-five per cent of pupils have been awarded A*-C grades overall and this testament to their hard work and the support given to them by the superb teachers at Wisbech Grammar as well as their parents who have been with them every step of the journey.”
He also congratulated those pupils who have achieved the highest grades to secure places on competitive courses at leading universities.
He said: “There are some outstanding results to highlight: Nicholas Rayns (Spalding) achieved three A* grades and 1 A grade, Jacob Kelman (Spalding) achieved 1 A* grade, two A grades and an A* grade for his Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), Jasmine Clench (Wimblington, March) achieved 1 A* grade, two A grades and an A grade for her EPQ, and Charles Pindar (Downham Market) achieved 1 A* grade and two A grades.”
