MORE than 100 schools succumbed to the inclement weather yesterday but Wisbech Grammar School stayed open and its pupils took advantage of the snow to build two impressive snowmen.
Sixth form students built a snowman in the garden of the sixth form centre.
Not to be out done, junior school pupils made an eight foot high giant snowman.
