Wisbech Grammar School students have won the friendship trophy in a peace poster competition sponsored by Wisbech Lions Club.
Every year Lions International and United Nations join forces to promote peace by sponsoring a poster competition for 11-13 year old pupils.
All of the local schools` winning entries were displayed in Tesco, Wisbech for three days.
Three judges - an artist, the Tesco store manager and a member of Wisbech Lions Club - decided that the entries from the grammar school came out tops.
The first prize winning posters from each school will be forwarded to the Lions district competition and if successful on to national and then maybe even on to international.
The prize is a trip to New York for the winner and their family.
